Mrs. Dy Sophorn has been a teacher at Kamrou Krong Primary School in Kampong Chhnang for 21 years. Her strong teaching passion and dedication in making the students lives better have clearly shown through.

Her teaching routine may seem simple but it is filled with great attention to details. Mrs. Dy is thoroughly aware of the students family backgrounds, their learning weaknesses and even their lifestyle and health in order to make the best preparation for her classes. She would coordinate with the colleagues to have the right teaching materials for her students. Mrs. Dy’s close relationship with her students also means that she is always aware of the students struggles and will always be able to offer them help in time. Her love for teaching is clearly reflected by the love she receives in return from her students. The classroom is filled with enthusiastic students who never seem tired from engaging with their favourite teacher.
