With over 30 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Phan Thi Nu has made countless impacts on the lives of the students she has encountered. Her love for teaching was fostered from a family of teachers, like her father and grandfather before her.
Mrs. Nu is an English language teacher at the Le Quy Don Gifter High School in Da Nang in central Vietnam. The school is one of the top destinations for the students in the region. Its students are regularly invited to participate in academic competitions and are often successful, especially in the International Olympiad prizes. Although, these academic successes may not be the direct product of Mrs. Nu, but her passion in developing the international perspectives of her students have definitely shown through.
As the Head of Public and International Relations Department of Le Quy Don Gifted High School, Mrs. Nu has been contributing to the internationalization of her school and the students. Her consistent hard work has blossomed into strong relationships between her school and many partner schools all over the world through ties with the Embassy of the United States, the Embassy of the United Kingdom, and many more. It is her passion to see her students become more wholesome through these eye-opening cultural exposure that made her special. Many awards from the school, the Da Nang Education union, the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training are firm recognition of her services to the cause of education of the country.
