Mr. Yok Joon Meng has been teaching at Yu Neng Primary School since 2006. His teaching career started as an English language and Mathematics teacher and has eventually been promoted to Head of the English Language and Social Studies Department. He is a passionate educator with the zeal to learn and inculcate the love of learning in students and staff. His major accomplishments include introduction of ICT into English language (EL) teaching and learning and computational thinking and coding into the school curriculum; leading the implementation and communication of school ICT Masterplans; and spearheading a high- progress, multidisciplinary and Future Minds programme. He was awarded the Inspiring Teacher of English Leadership Award in 2018 and a finalist for the President’s Award for Teachers in 2020.
