Mrs. Kimfueang Heuangmany is a school principal at Pheermai Primary School, Sekong Province. When she was young in primary school, she dreamed of being a teacher. In order to achieve her dream, she was determined to work hard. After completing the basic vocational level in 1990, she started teaching at Nonmeexay primary school in Sekong province.
While teaching, she continued her professional development and completed her secondary education through non-formal education and the intermediate level of vocational training (8+3 system) in 2012. She is a truly proud product of non-formal and technical vocational education.
Mrs. Kimfueang believes that education plays a crucial role in everyone’s life. She loves being a teacher. She is very passionate and cares very much for her children. She constantly provides her students with extra lessons to help them overcome their weaknesses in academics. She aims to develop the next generation of Lao PDR who is well-rounded so that they become quality human resources of Lao PDR to help develop the country. As a school principal, she pays attention to her students and teachers at the school. She led her team to develop teaching and learning materials and school gardening. Mrs. Kimfueang also teaches three main subjects: mathematics, science, and Lao language. Her dedication and performance have earned her many recognitions, including 29 letters of appreciation from local and central government agencies. Moreover, she has actively participated in various workshops and training courses to improve her teaching skills.
