Mrs. Lea Domingo is an elementary teacher at Luzong Elementary School, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Her inspiration to become a teacher is a combination of a desire to make a difference and strong community involvement. She chose to be a teacher because she believes that it is her calling, which stems from a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Throughout her career, she has received numerous prestigious recognitions, including being named the Philippines’ Most Outstanding Primary Educator of the Millennium and earning the Excellence in Leadership & Most Outstanding Teacher III Award in 2024. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her Outstanding Volunteer Award at the regional level in the individual adult category in 2021.

She is active in further professional development by taking courses such as Capability Building for Key Leaders on Evaluating Proficiency and Literacy, Learning Management System, Interactive Virtual Learning for Teachers, and Designing Classrooms through Tableau, as well as Empowering Students to Become 21st Century Learners.

Mrs. Lea Domingo holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Mariano Marcos State University and has pursued graduate studies in education at the University of Northern Philippines – Open University.
