Mrs. Ade Putri Sarwendah is a special education teacher. She takes care of students with intellectual disabilities. Her inspiration to become a teacher came from her parents, who are teachers in public schools. Later, she desired to get a special education from reading a book titled “SHEILA” written by Torey Hayden. The book inspired her to dedicate her ability, knowledge, and skills to help students with special needs be able to learn and become independent.
She has been constantly trained in various topics such as human sexuality education for children with special needs and maternal reflective methods. She has conducted research on various topics, including the use of technology in hybrid learning for students with special needs in 2023, character values in project-based thematic learning for special students in 2022, and the use of the GEMBIRA application to train sensitivity to sound and voice for deaf students in 2020.
