Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn<\/span><\/h2><\/div>

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is widely admired as a devoted educator, scholar, and advocate for human development. From an early age, Her Royal Highness was inspired by accompanying His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on rural development missions across Thailand, witnessing firsthand the challenges faced by children and families in remote communities. These early experiences shaped Her Royal Highness\u2019s lifelong commitment to improving education and quality of life of the underprivileged. Since 1980, Her Royal Highness has worked tirelessly to expand educational opportunities, recognising that true development extends beyond schools and classrooms. Her Royal Highness\u2019s initiatives have integrated health care, vocational training, and agriculture for food security, reflecting Her Royal Highness\u2019s belief that education is the foundation of sustainable livelihoods and social progress. Over the decades, Her Royal Highness\u2019s projects have reached countless communities in Thailand and have extended to many other countries, amplifying Her Royal Highness\u2019s impact globally.<\/p>\n

Her Royal Highness is herself a passionate teacher. For more than four decades, Her Royal Highness has taught history and sociology at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy in Thailand. Her Royal Highness has continually emphasised the vital role of teachers as the cornerstone of student success, launching numerous programmes to enhance teacher preparation, professional growth, and educational quality Her Royal Highness\u2019s vision and leadership have been honoured worldwide. In 2005, UNESCO named Her Royal Highness \u201cGoodwill Ambassador for the \u201cEmpowerment of Minority Children through Education and through the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage.\u201d In 2018, UNICEF awarded Her Royal Highness the Lifetime Achievement Award for Her Royal Highness\u2019s remarkable contributions to improving the lives of disadvantaged children in Thailand. Through Her Royal Highness\u2019s unwavering dedication, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has become a role model for teachers and learners alike. Her Royal Highness\u2019s passion for lifelong learning, commitment to equity in education, and ability to bridge tradition with innovation continue to inspire generations both in Thailand and around the world.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
